§ Mr. GalbraithAll Nursing Homes in Scotland must be registered with the local Health Board.
In terms of the recently published Nursing Homes Scotland Core Standards for registration and inspection of nursing homes, each individual connected with an application for registration of a Nursing Home must provide a declaration that there is no potential conflict of interest. This provision extends in all respects to those nominated by the Home owners to be in daily charge of the Home. Health Boards are instructed to follow up all references.
