§ The Prime MinisterWe are committed both to protecting the countryside and to regenerating our towns and cities. Policy on the Green Belt remains unchanged. My right hon. Friend the Deputy Prime Minister will consider the proposed modifications to the Hertfordshire County Council's Structure Plan, which are open to public objection until 16 January 1998.
