§ Ms QuinAs I indicated in that answer, the Home Office regularly consults relevant Departments and agencies over both draft Conventions. In addition, both texts have been deposited with the House of Lords Select Committee on the European Communities. I understand592W that the Select Committee has already received evidence on the draft Mutual Legal Assistance Convention from at least two organisations.
