§ Mr. Edward DaveyTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions if he will publish the correspondence between his Department and the London Borough of Haringey regarding Alexandra Palace and Park which is of a non-commercial nature. [19734]
§ Ms ArmstrongIdentifying this information from the considerable volume of correspondence with Haringey over Alexandra Palace and Park would be time consuming and could not be undertaken except at disproportionate cost.
496WIn November 1996 the Department gave the London Borough of Haringey directions, allowing an increase in their aggregate credit limit totalling £55 million, in connection with the Council's proposals for establishing the future of Alexandra Palace and Park. The directions are technical measures and do not convey additional financial support. I am arranging for a copy of the directions to be placed in the library.
