§ Mr. BoatengThis is a matter for the health authority. My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State recently approved a change to the opening hours of the minor injuries unit at Leigh Infirmary. Wigan and Bolton Health Authority has been allocated £1.4 million in winter pressures money and will use this additional funding to increase the capacity of the hospitals and social services departments in the district to deal with rising numbers of emergency admissions.
