§ Mrs. Roche[holding answer 26 November 1997]: Between 1 January 1994 and 25 November 1997, 11 applications were refused for standard or open individual licences to export to Turkey goods controlled under entries in Part III of Schedule I to the Export of Goods (Control) Order 1994 (the so-called "Military List"). This does not include applications from which these goods or this destination were removed before a licence was issued.
