§ Mr. MaloneOne formal contract arbitration has taken place in Northern and Yorkshire region since 1 April 1996, between Leeds health authority and United Leeds Teaching Hospitals national health service trust.
For 1996–97, NHS executive Northern and Yorkshire sent guidance on contract arbitration to all health authorities and trusts in the Northern and Yorkshire region on 16 February 1996.
