§ Mr. NelsonBrazilian mahogany—Swietenia macrophylla—was listed in appendix III of CITES on 16 November 1995. Between then and 25 October 1996, CITES imports permits received and verified by HM Customs and Excise indicate that 10,141 cu m have been imported into the UK.
