§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonHealth boards were allocated totals of £4,967 million and £5.105 million in 1995–96 and 1996–97 respectively to provide for the reimbursement of certain expenses incurred by general practitioners in delivering out-of-hours services.
The totals were distributed between health boards on a per capita general practitioner basis as shown in the table.
