§ Mr. WattsInstances of unqualified contractors working on the rail network are not reportable under the statutory reporting requirement. From time to time, Health and Safety Executive inspectors receive information or complaints alleging that unqualified contractors are working on the rail network, and these are invariable followed up by HSE's railway inspectorate. However, no central record exists and the information requested could only be obtained at disproportionate cost.
