975WI discussed the Welsh Local Government Association's assessment of spending needs, including its assessment of landfill tax costs, at a meeting of the Welsh Consultative Council on Local Government Finance on 23 September. I will give careful consideration to the assessment in making my 1997–98 local government revenue settlement decisions.
