What statistical information is available to indicate the growth in the installation of burglar alarms and other security precautions at domestic premises over the last ten years, and the estimated effect on the incidence of domestic burglary.

The available information, from the British Crime Survey, is as follows:

What was the number of recorded offences of homicide in which firearms were the principal cause of death in each year since 1985, including Scotland as well as England and Wales; and

What was the total number of offences recorded by the police in each year since 1985 in which firearms were used to cause non-fatal injuries, including Scotland as well as England and Wales.
