Whether they will consider introducing guidelines in Great Britain similar to the policy appraisal and fair treatment guidelines which came into effect in Northern Ireland on 1st January 1994 and apply to all Government departments and public bodies.
§ The Minister of State, Department for Education and Employment (Lord Henley)Guidelines on policy appraisal for equal treatment were first circulated to all Government departments in 1992 and have been revised and recirculated this year. Copies of the revised guidelines have been placed in the Library.
