To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, pursuant to his answer of 26 November,Official Report, column 154, if he will provide further information on the air accidents occurring in 1993 [6968]

Mr. Bowis

Of the accidents referred to in my reply of 26 November,Official Report, column 154, five involved aircraft struck by ground vehicles and equipment, and two involved cabin attendants falling from aircraft while attempting to close a door.

The air accidents investigation branch investigated six of the seven accidents. The reports of its investigations, copies of which have been placed in the Library, were
