§ Sir Paul BeresfordBy 31 March 1997, when Sheffield development corporation comes to the end of its lifetime, over 11,000 jobs will have been created in developments originating since the SDC became the planning authority.
Of these, some 300 result from relocations within the SDC area and over 8,000 are in businesses new to the area.
§ Mr. BettsTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what information he collates on the effect of development in the Sheffield development corporation area since its inception on existing development and jobs outside the SDC area. [6082]
