§ Mr. HoramAccording to the annual report and accounts of the Audit Commission, its total audit fees charged to the national health service were:
- 1993–94: £32.236 million
- 1994–95: £36.789 million
- 1995–96: £38.759 million
The Audit Commission estimates fees for 1996–97 at £37.6 million.
