§ Mr. Ian TaylorThe allocations of the science budget for 1996–97 did not include any specific contingency funds. The cost implications for PSREs are considered on a case-by-case basis of evaluation. My right. hon Friend the President of the Board of Trade expects to announce the allocation of the science budget for 1997–98 early next year.
