§ Mr. SoamesThe strength of the fleet in 1990 is contained in table 1 of annex A to the "Statement on the Defence Estimates 1990", Cm 1022, a copy of which can be found in the Library of the House. Our current plans are to maintain the fleet broadly at the strength set out in annex B to the "Statement on the Defence Estimates 1996", Cm 3223.
