§ Mrs. GillanThe Department has received five letters this year relating to the teaching of first aid in schools.
There is scope within national curriculum science for the teaching of first aid. Opportunities also exist within the wider curriculum, for example through programmes of personal, social and health education, for schools to provide information about first aid.
