Why there was no mention during the ceremony of the unveiling of the monument erected to the memory of victims of genocide in this century of the genocide of one and a half million Armenians in 1915.

The unveiling of the monument erected to the innocent victims of our century is a tribute to all civilian victims of violence, and does not mention any specific groups. The Armenians who died in the massacres of 1915 would come fully within the scope of the memorial.
