To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what are his proposals for(a) RAF Scampton and (b)i RAF Swinderby. [5138]

Subject to the agreement of a planning brief for RAF Scampton, it is our intention to dispose of the site, although the married quarters are to be retained. RAF Swinderby has already been sold.
