§ Mr. Michael ForsythSince 1 July 1994, the Scottish Office has received 18 applications from Orkney, of which 13 were awarded grant aid totalling £1.173 million, and 37 applications from Shetland, of which 13 were awarded a total of £0.987 million.
Four applications from Orkney and eight from Shetland are currently being considered for grant in the next round of awards.
