§ Mr. SackvilleThe Zoo Licensing Act 1981, but not the winter quarters regulations, applies to the keeping of animals in zoos. Circus animals will continue to be governed by the Performing Animals (Regulations) 1925 and the Protection of Animals Act 1911.
