§ Sir John WheelerMy right hon. and learned Friend received from Lee William Clegg's solicitors an application that his case be referred to the Court of Appeal for Northern Ireland again under section 14 of the Criminal Appeal (Northern Ireland) Act 1980.
My right hon. and learned Friend has sought an independent scientific report on the material submitted in support of the application to assist him in deciding whether he would be justified in referring the case to the Court of Appeal.
