§ Mr. PageI am advised by the Health and Safety Executive HSE that it has not produced such a report, but it served two improvement notices on Dounreay in 1995 and a further two notices last month. Details of changes in staff numbers and of the work being undertaken on the site by private contractors are operational matters for the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority. The UKAEA will keep the use of commercial contractors under review to ensure that they continue to contribute to the safe and cost-effective management of the Dounreay site.
