§ Mr. Raymond S. RobertsonThe Inshore Fishing (Monofilament Gill Nets) (Scotland) Order 1996 permits the carriage by UK-registered vessels in Scottish waters 147W of monofilament nets only with a mesh size greater than 250 mm. Use of these nets will not be permitted within the six-mile limit. The Scottish Office is monitoring the levels of effort in those fisheries affected by this order.
