§ Mr. Roger EvansSince the changes were announced, a small number of letters from hon. Members and the public have been received. Representations were also made to the Social Security Advisory Committee during the period of public consultation on the proposals. The committee's report, and the Government's response to it, were published with the regulations on 11 October and copies were placed in the Library.
