HC Deb 11 November 1996 vol 285 c41W
Mr. Redmond

To ask the Secretary of State for Health what provision he has made in(a) Doncaster and (b) South Yorkshire to support school leavers with physical disabilities with day care facilities. [2678]

Mr. Burns

The latest figures available, from September 1995, show that, in South Yorkshire, 1,430 day centre places were available for those aged 16 to 64 with physical and/or sensory impairments. In Doncaster, 197 day centre places were available to the same client group.
