§ Mr. Robin SquireMy right hon. Friend was referring to comments made by the hon. Member for Colchester, North (Mr. Jenkin) about educational standards in areas with both wholly selective and non-selective schools. In the majority of such areas the proportion of children receiving five or more GCSE grades A* to C is higher than the national average.
