To ask the Parliamentary Secretary, Lord Chancellor's Department what assessment he has made of the cost effects of the millennium date change on the computer systems operated by his Department. [2612]

The Department is continuing its assessment of the impact of the millennium date change on its computer systems. Until this work is complete, it will not be possible to estimate the likely costs.
