§ Mr. Gwilym JonesNHS trusts are operationally independent and receive no direct revenue funding from the Welsh Office. All trust income is earned through contracts with commissioners of health care including health authorities and GP fundholders. It is for trusts to determine, together with their health commissioners, what is the appropriate level of funding.
