§ Mr. Waldegrave[holding answer 31 October 1996]: The following figures refer to 1994 gross domestic product, as that is the last year for which a figure for Scottish gross domestic product is currently available. UK receipts from CAP represented 0.4 per cent. of UK GDP, excluding the UK continental shelf. Scottish receipts from CAP represented 0.6 per cent. of Scottish GDP.
