§ Mr. FreemanFrom 1 April 1996, the civil service management code prohibited unfair discrimination on the basis of age. It is the responsibility of Departments and agencies to incorporate this into their own equal opportunities policies. Information on the number of Departments and agencies that have done so is not held centrally.
