Mr. Hague

The Welsh Office deregulation unit is responsible for promoting and monitoring progress with deregulation activities which are undertaken by policy divisions across the Department. The 1996–97 budget for the unit, which is part of the Department's business services division, is £19,140 for running costs plus £10,000 programme. The unit consists of one higher executive officer, 0.75 whole-time equivalent.
