§ Mr. SackvilleThe ministerial sub-committee of the Cabinet on the misuse of drugs, chaired by my right hon. Friend the Lord President of the Council, co-ordinates the work of Departments, including the Home Office, involved in tackling drug misuse. The Lord President is supported in his co-ordinating role by the central drugs co-ordination unit. Independent advice to Government is provided by the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs.
