§ Mr. Maclean[holding answer 8 May 1996]: The consultation paper "Wheelclamping on Private Land" was published on 23 February 1993, with a request for response by 31 May 1993. The consultation exercise produced a great deal of useful information but no consensus about a solution. We are considering what action, if any, should be taken to regulate this activity.
