§ Mr. Gwilym JonesThe provision of rail links in North Wales is a commercial matter for the railway operators.
§ Mr. HansonTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will undertake discussions with the rail regulator with regard to the future levels of service between north and south Wales. [28272]
§ Mr. Gwilym JonesThe franchising director has completed consultation on the south Wales and west draft passenger service requirement. He is assessing the representations he has received and will publish the final requirement in due course.
Services to be provided in addition to the requirement will be a matter for the commercial judgment of the franchisee.
