§ Mr. HagueAll staff of the Welsh Office and its executive agency Cadw are entitled to statutory provision. In addition maternity leave exceeds statutory provision by two weeks and there is an entitlement for paternity leave of two days. Staff are also eligible to apply for special leave with pay and without pay for a number of specified reasons including caring responsibilities. Places at a work place nursery are available to staff. Requests from staff wishing to work patterns other than full-time conditioned hours are considered sympathetically with regard to the operational requirements of the Department.
