§ Mr. HowardThese provisions are set out in the departmental staff handbook—a copy of which is in the Library—which details conditions of service for all Home Office employees, apart from those in the Prison Service. A staff handbook will be issued shortly for Prison Service employees. There is no written guidance on term-time or annual hours contracts, but these would be considered, subject to operational requirements, as the need arose.
