§ Mr. HanleyWe continue to monitor carefully developments in south-east Asia, and to urge all sides involved in disputes in the area to pursue settlement of their differences by peaceful means.
We remain deeply concerned about human rights in China. We express our concerns on this subject to the Chinese authorities at every suitable opportunity.
