To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what are his plans to publish material this year, pursuant to his obligations under section 95 of the Criminal Justice Act 1991. [24186]

I have today placed in the Library copies of the section 95 publication for 1995.

This latest publication is based on the work done by the Criminal Justice Consultative Council in following up its 1994 report on race. The report shows considerable progress across a wide range of areas and makes clear the commitment of each agency and Government Department to ensuring that any discrimination in the criminal justice system is eradicated.
