§ Mr. NorrisThe transport of organophosphorus dips by road and rail in Great Britain is controlled, like other goods classified as dangerous for transport, through a number of regulations made under the Health and Safety at Work, etc. Act 1974. These regulations place a wide range of duties for health and safety mainly on those consigning dangerous goods for transport or on the operators of the transport being used. There are also duties placed on drivers of road vehicles carrying dangerous goods.
Similar provisions apply to transport by sea and air.
