Mrs. Gillan

The data are contained in a number of tables, copies of which will be placed in the Library.

Table 1(A) gives total education annual capital guidelines for the years 1990–91 to 1995–96 inclusive, while data for 1996–97, when several new local education authorities will exist, are given in table 1(B). Table 2 gives details of supplementary credit approvals from 1993–94 to 1995–96. A sum of approximately £42 million will be distributed as SCAs in 1996–97. Comparable data on SCAs for earlier years could be provided only at disproportionate cost.
