§ Mr. Gwilym JonesNorth Wales police and local authorities expressed concern for safety of road users because of trading on lay-bys along this busy route and I subsequently announced on 23 January that the Highways Directorate will shortly initiate statutory procedures necessary to prohibit the practice.
Since the announcement, four informal representations have been made in favour of the prohibition and seven against.
