The table sets out the number of discharges, admitted as emergencies, from orthopaedics who received an operation for each month in 1995 in Edinburgh NHS hospitals showing the percentage and number waiting more than two days. The data are provisional. The availability of theatre time to cope with demand for orthopaedic traumatic surgery is a matter for the NHS trusts concerned.
