§ Mr. HoramCoronary heart disease mortality fell by 10.7 per cent. in the under 65-year-olds and by 7.7 per cent. in those aged 65 to 74 years between 1993 and 1994. During the same time period stroke mortality fell by 5.6 per cent. for those under 65 and by 3.8 per cent. for those aged 65 to 74.
