The latest costs are shown in the 1996 European Community Budget. The total cost of all European Commission delegations in third countries in 1996 is 179.712 mecu or £151.03 million, comprising 72,247 mecu or £60.72 million in salaries, allowances 258W and reimbursements of expenses for officials and temporary staff, and 107.465 mecu or £90.31 million in other non-staff related costs. This budget comes under the administration section of the EC Budget—budget title A–6, pages 506–514 of the Official Journal of 29 January 1996.
