§ Mr. KynochLocate in Scotland works in close co-operation with the Invest in Britain Bureau and it is therefore very difficult to categorise specific projects as projects which came to Scotland as a result of involvement by IBB.
In the three years to March 1995, Locate in Scotland helped to attract to Scotland a total of 257 inward investment projects involving planned investment of over £2 billion and the expected creation or safeguarding of more than 31,000 jobs.

§ Mr. KynochThe Invest in Britain Bureau is a division of the Department of Trade and Industry and Locate in Scotland works in close co-operation with it. Both IBB and LIS are represented on the committee on overseas promotion, which is an interdepartmental committee which exists to co-ordinate the UK's inward investment activity and, in particular, to ensure that the activities of individual bodies are complementary and incremental to the overall UK effort.
