§ Mr. Sproat[holding answer 21 June 1996]: In all, nine officers on foot and three mounted officers of the royal parks constabulary were deployed on 15 June to assist the Metropolitan police keep order between rival groups of football fans in Trafalgar square. No royal parks constabulary officers were deployed in Trafalagar square on Sunday 16 June.
