§ Baroness BlatchMy right honourable friend the Home Secretary will be announcing the results of the 1996–97 Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Challenge Competition on Friday 21st June. Details of the successful bids will be placed in the Library. The Government have stated their intention of making £45 million available for CCTV. Fifteen million pounds of this will be available in 1997–98.
